  • BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
    This rapid transit system, stretching from San Francisco to Concord, from Richmond to Fremont, and soon through Hayward into the Amador and Livermore Valleys, is the preeminent regional mass transit system in the San Francisco Bay Area. This site contains schedules, fare information, and so on. For those of you with Java-capable browsers, there is an animated BART map tracing out the daily commute.
